Our Lovie!

Liam has become very attached to his blanket. He drags it all over the house. It is must have for nap time and bedtime. We are very grateful to his Aunt Jill for making it for him. She has even been commissioned to knit a small travel size blanket for him.  The one he has now is large and makes traveling a little harder. I just thought these were very cute pictures.

One day after nap, he come down stairs only to lay on the kitchen for the next 20 minutes.

Smiles!

He dragged the blanket in his tunnel with his water before nap time! He was trying to escape Mommy form nap time!

We love our blanket, even after bath time!

Chris' Baptism

On August 21, 2010, Chris was baptized in the name of the Lord. He did not want to make a big production of it but it was non the less just as special. We had a few friends from Church. Our neighbor Troy baptized Chris. The baptism was special for Troy. He had a hand in bringing Chris to the Church. So with a few friends surrounding the pool, Chris was baptized. It was a momentous occasion. After the baptism, we swam in the pool with the Gibbins and had a great dinner with them.

Professing faith in God!

The parks and ducks

In August, Lauren and the boys invited us to go to the park and feed the ducks. I had never been to the Breckenridge park or to feed the ducks. I didn't know who Liam would do with all the ducks. We started our day at the park. Liam was in heaven. He loves the park. He loves to climb and run. He also very good at giving me a scare. He decided that he would go down the slide by just stepping off. After a quick flop on our back and slide down the slide, he laughed! I felt like I had had a heart attack but he was having fun! Oh the joys of parenting a boy!

Playing on the play set!

Playing in the slide

On the bouncey thing!!! He was very sweaty by then and hot!

on the swing!!! We love the swing!!!! Liam did not want to get out of the swing!

After forever in the swing we all got to play in the bouncey thing. Liam loved it more this time since Reef was making it bounce really high. Liam loved it! I was afraid he would fall off but Liam has no fear! He just wanted to bounce!

After some much needed lunch and water, we were off to feed the ducks. We had this one duck that must have known we were there to feed them because he was following us everywhere! He did love sitting by Lachlan for all of his food droppings!

Feeding the ducks! Liam was chasing the ducks. I was worried he would get bitten by a duck but he was fearless! The ducks were very happy we were there!

More bread, Mommy!!! Hurry!!!

Feeding the swans!

Liam loved feeding the duck. However, our friend Lachlan did not understand why we were giving this bread to the ducks. Lachlan was eating his bread rather than giving it to the ducks and he was trying to pick up the bread thrown at the ducks before they got it! Lachlan also really wanted to to swimming with the ducks! Poor Lauren had to hold him back!
