Our New Sandbox

Chris and I have been wanting to get Liam a sandbox for awhile now. We have been having some great weather here in Texas so Chris and Liam built a sandbox. Liam loved working on on the sandbox. We did pick the one of the hotter days to spend the afternoon outside. But it all turned out wonderfully. Liam truly enjoyed all the time outside and helping Daddy. Liam did have a bit of a melt down when we told him he was not allowed to play with the screws and power tools. He soon forgot and moved on to playing with his car and moving some wood.

Liam parked his car on on the top of the sandbox.

Helping daddy !

This is the new lawn mover we got for free at a yard sale! It doesn't blow bubbles anymore but he loves it just the same!

Liam really wanted to be in on all the action. I know Chris can't wait until he can really help and not just hand him gloves.

Holding the boards for Daddy while he screws the together.

Dancing to music outside!  He loves to dance!

Liam moved his car into the box frame of the sandbox for a little test run.

All smiles. Daddy let him share his water bottle. Liam loved this.

Almost there!

Just adding the sand!

Time to play now! He loves to dig and knock down any castles I make!

The dump truck was a must for any boy and a sandbox. He loves to fill it up and dump it out. Sometimes we have to remind him the the sand stays in the sandbox!

Playing in the sand!

It was all worth it for that smile! He loves it so much!

He fell out of the sandbox! I am not sure how this happened but I just had to take a picture. He was okay. The box is a foot off the ground. My turtle!

Car Wash with Daddy

Th other day Chris took Liam outside to help wash the cars. Well, Liam was not a huge help but he had a wonderful time. Chris even taught him to wash his train. It was so wonderful to see Liam and Chris bonding.

I am not sure why he was so wet.

Playing in the water.

Picnic Time

We had a beautiful day here in the beginning of March. So Liam and I had a wonderful picnic lunch outside. This was my first attempt with a not table and no chair lunch for Liam. He had a great time. It was hard getting him to focus but he enjoyed all the sun and fun.

Wee World

The other day the Gibbins boys invited us to visit Wee World with them. It is a consignment store with a play area. Liam loved the play area. I was nice to get them out and play.

Virginia Trip

Liam and I were blessed with a wonderful trip to Virginia. In February we flew to D.C. to see Maria and her family. Liam does so well on planes. I always get compliments about his good manners and lack of crying. The weather was great for us. We had some beautiful days and on the last day it snowed!

Maria and I wanted to go shopping one day, since Liam was such a trooper he got to ride on the train. He thought this was the most amazing think ever!

Liam was also spoiled rotten by his Aunt Maria. She does love him to pieces. Liam loved this green truck she got him. He still loves it!

I am not sure why Maria had a giant stuffed dog named Muffy or Buffy. Liam however thought this was a great toy to jump on. He would roll and tumble with this dog! It was cute to watch.

As a Capitals fan, Maria had to get this picture it. Just look at those cheeks!

Liam's fist time on the metro!

Liam had a love for the piano at Grandma and Grandpa Walker's house. He and Maria would play and dance. It was very cute!

Again with the dog!

Mommy and Liam!

Uncle Jonathan did this. Liam thought it was great! If you notice Liam is also playing with Jonathan's phone!

On a rainy day we took Liam to the mall to play inside.

The theme of the play area was baby looney toons trains. He loves trains!

At the airport waiting to get on the plane. He is now in love with planes too.

We had such a wonderful time in VA. While in VA we were able to visit with my parents for a day. They come to the D.C. area to relive about their younger years before us kids. It was a great time for us to see them for a short visit. Our time in VA was great but to short. It is always sad to leave. I miss Maria so much. Liam just loves all hugs and kisses he gets from everyone. Liam was finally warming up to Snow, Nicks dog, when we left. I can't wait to go for another visit. It always seems to take to long to go back and we never have enough time. Liam and I are so blessed to have such wonderful extended family that loves us. We love you Walker family!
