We built a garage for his new ambulance car! Thanks Marie! He loves it!

He was using the ottoman as a parking space for all his big trucks!

2nd Birthday Party

We had Liam's party a few days after his birthday. Thankfully the stomach bug was gone. It was a great day for the party. The weather was not to hot or cold and the clouds were out but not rainy. We had the party at the park on Fort Sam Houston. We love the playground. We were able to grill some hotdogs and hamburgers and have a great time with friends. Liam loved running around with all his friends. It was great to have them all over.

Taking a water break!

All the boys climbing!

Lachlan!

This merry go round was a favorite for all the kids! The older boys wanted to go much faster!

Liam loved climbing everything!

He was so dirty by the end of the day!

Liam and Isaiah!

Singing happy birthday. He was not a fan. He just wanted to play!

Thank you to everyone who shared in his birthday! He loved every minute of playing with his friends!

Liam is 2!!!!

I can't believe my little boy is 2! He is grown so much. He is turned it quite the little boy. It was a bit of a tough birthday. Liam was suffering from the stomach bug. It was not pretty. I felt so bad for him. He wouldn't eat and he had a hard time drinking fluids. So for his birthday we laid around and watched some tv shows. He thought it was great!

Liam in the morning. He didn't feel so great!

He did start to feel somewhat better so we got a haircut. He was in desperate need. Those crackers were the only thing he ate that day! My poor baby!

Liam opening his present from Uncle Curtis and Aunt Cynthia!

He got a Chuggington matching game!

Uncle Pete and Aunt Cathy got him a plasma car! He calls it his "wiggle wiggle" car!

He was in love!

Aunt Cathy and Uncle Pete also got him Car's backpack and water bottle.

Love!

Chris and I decided to get Liam a new cat. So after his haircut, we went to look at cats. He decided on this one. Duncan is a 10month old shorthair. He is very cute but very heavy. He is 10lbs already. Liam does love his kitty cat.

This is the train cookie I made.

This is the only bite he took. He was not a good eater that day. I knew he was still not feeling well when he refused to eat the cookie!

He did like to crush the cookie and smash it.

All and all Liam had a good birthday. It was kinda hard since he was not felling well but he did good. I think getting some presents helped perk him up.

Things Liam does at 2:
- Still loves chicken nuggets
- His eating habit have been better
- He loves cars, train, and blocks
- He loves his Uncle Pete
-He loves it when you beep the car horn
- His best friends are Lachlan and Isaiah
- His favorite stuffed animal is his turtle
-He must have his turtle and blanket for bed
- He loves to read books
- Uncle Seamus is called Aboo
- He confused bananas with his Nana
- He loves to jump and climb
-He calls jumping "boom"
- He loves to rock in his rocking chair before bed
-He loves to prayer for everything

I love watching my little Turtle grow. These past two year have flown by. I am so blessed to have such an amazing son. I can't wait to see what the future brings us!

Easter 2011

Sorry for the delay....... We had a lovely Easter. We had a a great Church service. After Church I started the cooking. Easter is one of my favorite holidays. My favorite part is the honey baked ham. We were so blessed to have Chris' Grandma and his Uncle John. We also had the Gibbins Family over. However due to the recent stomach bug going around we only had Lauren and Reef. We did send leftover home with them for Troy and the boys. It was a great time for all of us!

Update on the Family

Well as most of you know, Chris' older brother Pete and his wife live with us. They have been with us for almost a year now. Pete had to stop working in December sue to health issues. We have been slowly working on getting disability and insurance for him. We are making progress. We have had some rough patches with hospital stays but things are slowly looking up for us. We moved Pete and Cathy from the guest room upstairs to the master down stairs. It make him more able to be part of our day to day lives with less stress on his leg. It really has helped and Liam loves it. Liam has more access to Pete and loves to visit with him.

Cathy started LVN school in January. She is doing great. She just finished her first quarter with A's & B's! We are so proud of her. She is having a great time learning new things. She is going to make a great nurse!

We do have some sad news. Our cat Ava passed on April 1st. She got very sick from her feline leukemia. We took her to the vet and tried antibiotics but she was just not responding. It was very had to see her suffer. Chris was wonderful with helping me and being so understanding. We were very blessed to have her for 5 wonderful years. She was a great cat for our family!

Chris is still in school it. It is going well. He has found some wonderful resources. This semester is coming to an end soon but he still has some more classes to take. I am hoping that these other ones go by faster and are not as hard. But who like chemistry? Not Chris!

Liam is doing great. He is growing and talking like crazy. We are working on not whining but he is 2 and it is hard. His eating has been better. Chris and I are trying not to stress about his eating and it seems to be working. He is becoming more and more independent. It is so cute to see him learn so many new things. He is very happy with out new kitty, Duncan. He does roll the ball at Duncan. Poor Duncan is going to have to get used to having a toddler around. Yep we got a new kitty for Liam for his birthday. We wanted a pet and it only seemed appropriate to let Liam pick since it was his birthday!

I thought I would end this post on a positive note.............. On Good Friday, April 22, I was baptized. We had a few people over at John and Babette's pool for the baptism. Lauren baptized me. The pool water was kinda cold but well worth it. I am so blessed with so many wonderful people in my life! I have amazing family and friends in my life!
