Rock Wall

We did a impromptu trip to the park and this is what I saw.....

He just walked right up

Started to climb

Look at him go

Almost there....

One more step

We made it!

I know his Uncle Seamus is proud of him! I was so surprised he just did it. He is getting so big!

Toilets are mean

Liam learned the hard way that toilets can be mean. He did a face plant into the rim on the toilet just before nap. He went to step on his stool and missed. I was right there but not fast enough! Poor boy has a nice black eye and thankfully he didn't break his orbital bone.

Right after! It is now black under his eye to his cheek bone.

I made it better with a kiss and a "poppy" or popsicle

St. Patrick's Day

We were not home on for St. Patrick's day this year, so we celebrated early. We had all the good stuff. We enjoyed some great family time and some wonderful food. We had corn beef, cabbage, carrots, shepherds pie, Irish soda bread cookies, and some lattice pie bars!

What is not to love about this face?

I just love my little Turtle!

We have lift off......

As we all know my Turtle loves to fly!!!!....... Even if he is stuck indoors!!!!

Ready!

Set!

Fly!!!!

Tool Set

Liam has been OBSESSED with Chris' tools the past few day. I am sure people thought we were crazy for carrying around a level and a wrench. Well my dad decided that a more age appropriate tool set would be better. A few days later in the mail Liam got his very own tool set from Da!!!! He was so excited. We worked on fixing thing all day around the house. He hammered walls, pillows, the rug and many toys. He loved it so much he took it to story time at Barnes & Noble later! We love the tool set! One of the best gifts ever for this little boy!

Thanks Da!!!

Look at this smile!!!!

Spurs Family Fun Day

One of the girls Cathy works with offered us tickets to the Spurs family fun day. Chris was all about going to see some Spurs. We were excited for Liam to go too. I know he would love all the kids activities. It was a rainy not so great day. It turned out to be good because it kept a lot of people away. We started out events with a quick stop at the hockey practice nets. I knew instantly that Uncle Curtis was going to love this. Liam was not too bad at hockey.

Liam really enjoyed this.

Our next stop was food! I know I am pregnant, what can I say. It was free food. We got three box lunches with sandwiches, drink, cookies, chips and an apple. Liam at the chips and a cookie. I loved my sandwich.

After my much needed snack we headed to the kids play area. Liam loved shooting the baskets balls. He was a little small but he managed with the help of Chris.

Look at my future star!

He is so cute !

It was now time to meet some players and get autographs. Liam was good about waiting in lines. We did him a little Spurs basket ball for the players to sign. He practicing his please and thank you's in line. He taught him how to ask. It was so cute.

Cory Joseph #5 signing the ball

Us with the Coyote!!!! This was my favorite! I love the Coyote!

Danny Green # 4 Signing the ball!

James Anderson #25 - I know this is a horrible picture. It was super exposed and I had to do some major editing to make it look this good! Sorry.

We also got to tour the locker room and see all the big trophies!

Love this!

Liam's favorite thing the ballon laser gun!!!!

Shooting random things!

Running and shooting. I am sure he shoot all the players after they signed his ball and a few security guards.  We still have it at home. I am not sure what we will do when it finally deflates or pops.

Smiles

I love that Liam loves to read. At any given moment in our house Liam will ask you to read to him. It makes my heart smile!

Liam and Chris reading Curious George!

Normal Day Outside

Words can not explain how much time we spend outside. Plus the amount of time we spend with the Gibbins. I swear every morning starts with "Mom, can I see my friends?" and "Can we go outside?" This is said at least 20 times before it happens.

Eyeballing a  rollie pollie!

Playing!

Liam playing Firman! This is his new favorite thing to play.

Movie and Dinner with Friends

Lauren and I decided to take the boys for Sonic one evening. Troy was out of town and Chris had 24hr duty. The boys loved it. We ate on the floor and watched a movie! The movie was................are you ready............... the 80's Super Mario Brothers cartoon! I know but they loved it!

I am so blessed to have such an amazing family to live next door to us. I know there will come a time when we have to move but for now we love every minute here!

A Brief Look into the Future

Last week my dear friend Katie needed someone to watch her daughter, Haven, for 3 days. I volunteered. How back could two kids be? Besides I could use a little test run before this baby arrives. Surprisingly it all went well.

On the first day Liam, Haven and I all went to the store. Yes, I ventured to the store with them both. I kinda had too since I really needed fruit and veggies. Liam helped push the cart while I carried Haven in the ergo carrier......(side note I must get one of these for the next baby. Amazing!!!!) Liam helped so much. He was so concerned with her and if she needed anything. We even made it to playgroup on time. The big bonus was that I managed to get both of them down for a nap at the same time!

The second day, Liam was in school so it made things a wee bit easier. Haven and I met with Tina for some tea and muffins for my birthday. Then Haven and I ran some errands and I did some cleaning. Once I got Liam from school, he took his nap and Haven played for a few minutes before she napped.

On our last day, we spent the day home. Liam played with Haven. He did learn that being to close to the swing can lead to a busted lip. He very much wanted to be my helper. It was so cute to see then playing and enjoying each other. If Haven cried or let out a fuss, Liam was right there to cheer her up!

Liam is going to make a great big brother!

Liam and Haven having a picnic! I a pretty sure Haven was eyeballing Liam's lunch

He was getting to hot outside so he needed to rest before finishing lunch

Cowboy Liam

Liam's preschool just finished up their unit on Texas. I loved this unit. Liam learned so much. He told me all about the Alamo, long horn cattle, and bluebonnets. Liam loved to sing deep in the heart of Texas. He can recognize the state of Texas on a map and he knows the colors of the texas flag. They made a super cute book called "Texas, Texas." Liam loves to read it. On the last day of the unit, it was dress like a cowboy day! Liam was so excited to dress like Woody from Toy Story. We couldn't find him boots but Cathy got him a hat and shirt! Love at first site! He loved being a cowboy!

Hat and shirt! I know the hat is big but it was the smallest size they had!

Back of Liam's shirt!

Thanks Cathy for making Cowboy day the best every!

10 weeks and......

These baby pictures are from 10 weeks and 4 days. Our little sprout was being good but was quite the dancer for the ultrasound tech.

look at those feet!

Dancing baby!

Finally looks like a really baby!

More dancing!

I am currently 12 weeks and 4 days. I still have a fair amount of all day and night nausea. Plus I am super tired all the time. Liam does keep me on my toes. I am showing a little bit. Due to the not feeling so great I have not put on any weight. I am hoping the nausea stops soon. I am so over it.

Liam does have some funny things to say about my pregnancy. He tells me at least once a day he has a baby in his belly too. The best was the other morning he told me his tummy hurt because he had a baby during the night. I know. We have tried telling that only mommy's have babies but he doesn't believe us! Silly Boy!

Sprinkler time in February

It is hard to believe that on February 22nd it was warm enough for the sprinkler! Liam really wanted to play outside in the water so we turned on the sprinkler! We invited the Gibbins boys over for some fun too! We all had so much fun!

They loved the water

Running fromt he water

Lachlan didn't really want to get into the water but he did enjoy these sunglasses!

Jonas needed googles therefore so did Liam. This was the best I could do picture wise!
