Goggles

Well after the first week of swim lessons, Liam refused to go under the water. He continually repeated that he needed goggles to go under the water. I tried to pawn some sunglasses off as goggle but that only lasted about 5 minutes. So we broke down and got his some goggles. I did my research and found a pair I liked and would be good for Liam. However, we went to the store and he loved the spiderman goggles. Once he saw them there was no getting the ones I liked. The one good thing five dollars not twelve!

Well, once we got home, Liam had to put them on! He even went to get the mail in his goggles and show them to Reef and Jonas!

He loves his goggles!

My Swimming Turtle

Liam has been taking swim lessons daily for almost two weeks. Let me tell you being outside swimming everyday for an hour leads to a wonderful day. The only down side, some days he is so tired he just won't wake up. I don't have any pictures of our swim lesson since it is a mommy and me class. Liam is doing great. He loves the water and swimming. He truly looks forward to each day.

All tuckered our even after a 2 hour nap!

This face

I have to share this picture. I asked Liam to say cheese and this is what I got!

Is he not the cutest? I just love my turtle!

Beach Trip

I am so blessed to have such and amazing husband. Over Memorial weekend, myself and some of my girl friends went on a beach trip to South Padre. It was great. We talked, laughed and did nothing! I don't have many pictures from the weekend. Stacia has them all on her camera. I am not sure when we might be getting those copies. She has been a busy, busy beaver before and after our trip with the 4 kids, moving and building a house! However, here is on from my iPhone! I really enjoyed our trip and loved being with my friends. It helped strengthen our bond and I came home refreshed!

My view at 8 am in the morning.

Donut!!!!

Well for Father's day, Chris requested donuts in the morning. Once Liam woke we ran to the Donut Palace and placed our order. Liam was really excited about getting donuts for Chris. I let him pick two that he liked, one chocolate with sprinkles and the other orange frosting with sprinkles. Liam told me that he was going to eat his donuts when he got home. Well as you all know, he is a picky eater. I kinda took it with a  grain of salt. However, I did encourage him and when we got home, put his donut on his plate and started eating it. I was floored. I mean seriously! Chris was excited to see him trying something new, as was I! Now his favorite part was the frosting and sprinkles.

He loved it and ate the frosting off the top of both donuts!

Fixing things

Chris was out washing his truck and Liam decided that his basketball hoop needed fixing.

He was very intense on fixing the issue.

Dylan and Emily

We had Dylan and Emily over for dinner the other night. We wanted to get together since Emily was leaving for Marine Corp boot camp in a few days. Liam always loves to have his aunt and uncle over. It was nice to watch them play. Of course Dylan and Emily were the chosen ones to read the bedtime stories that night. It was fun to watch them play super heros. Liam really wanted Emily to be the bad guy but she was to happy about that. Liam was super excited that Dylan was wearing his Spurs shirt too! He thought it was great that they matched! We had a great time with them over for dinner. We were sad to see Emily leave but happy that she made such a wonderful choice for herself. We just know that she is going to do well in the Marine Corp!

Dylan, Liam and Emily playing!

Baseball cards

Liam is a typical 3 year boy! He loves his daddy and wants to be just like him. Chris and Liam share this love of cards. Now by cards I mean baseball, basketball, and football. We have quite the collection going on in our house. Chris is doing a great job of building and refining Pete's card collection. Liam loves to help. Liam has his own little collection going too. Now there is a big difference between Liam's collection and Chris'. Liam's collections really needs to find a home. He has about 50 cards or so and he randomly places them in places. He likes to take them to places and has a small bag for them. I still find them everywhere. Thankfully Chris keeps all his organized upstairs in a wall locker. It makes me smile that they will sort cards and watch box breaks together. I know Chris loves sharing this with Liam. I only hope that Liam continues to love this bond with his father.

Sorting card at the dinning room table! Notice his stacks. He sorts into all the different sports.
