Elias in November

It was about this time that Eli's colic kicked in for us. We had previously discovered that he had a milk/soy protein allergy. He was some crazy expensive formula. To add to the reflux and tummy issues this colic was making us go crazy. He was not sleeping which means I was not sleeping. He was becoming very time consuming, more so than a normal baby. I was constantly having to hold him, rock him. swaddle him and just keep moving to keep the crying to a minimum. It was taking a toll on our family. Despite all the crying and issues he was still one cute baby!

How cute is he?

Eli loved watching TV with Liam.

Promotion

On 1 November, Chris was promoted to SFC! We are so proud of him. He worked very hard for this promotion. At the same time as his promotion, Chris re-enlisted indefinitely for the Army. We are officially in it for the long haul!!! The best part of Chris' promotion, Liam insisted on wearing a cape and mask to the ceremony! It was priceless!

Eli and I waiting for everything to start!

Chris had a wonderful mentor to help him get into PA school and just genreally guide him while he has been at Camp Bullis. Major Sharon Rosser preformed his re-enlistment. She is a wonderful lady.

It is official!

SFC Johnny White conducted the promotion ceremony. Johnny is a great guy. He is now a 1LT.

Halloween and the Pumpkin Patch

I roped Chris into taking the family to the pumpkin patch again this year. I was Eli's first visit. I was excited. I was hoping for some great pictures. We got some great ones but Eli was not one for picture taking that day. Liam loved playing in the barrel of corn and running the maze! He was also super excited to get a pumpkin! He picked on for him and one for Eli.

Eli! This was the best one.

Jump!!!

Halloween was fun this year. Liam, of course, wanted to be the yellow angry bird just like Reef! Liam had an obsession with Reef. If Reef did it he wanted to do it! It is cute. Since we were all going to be angry birds, that makes Poppy and Eli pigs. I made Liam and Eli's costume. Troy helped cut out the face pieces for me and I made Poppy's tutu.

We were very blessed to have Larkin with us. The Gibbins invited him to come along. Liam was so happy to see daddy's best friend. That is now how he refers to Larkin.

Family Retreat

We love family retreat!!! This was a great year for us to go. Eli was 2 months old so he didn't do much. Liam was so excited to go camping. We were staying with the White family. Liam was excited to bunk with his friend Corbin. The drive up there is long but so worth it. Liam was super excited about the emergency lantern that Seamus let him barrow.

Asleep on the way up. Notice the lantern!

So pretty

Entering camp.

Our first night there was a longer night. Liam got to stay up late and play glow sticks with friends. He loved it. Eli did great. Everyone went to bed a bot later but Liam was just super excited to sleep on the top bunk with his friend Corbin.

Best Friends Playing

The next morning we sang songs and worshiped together. Liam was excited to sing his songs with his friends. Liam doesn't normally like to share his songs with us at home. This was fun to watch him sing all the songs he sings in bible class.

Mr. Greg did a great job getting all the kids up and moving for songs!

Singing and dancing

At this point, I do believe Bonnie took Eli from us. She kept him all day with the exceptions of lunch dinner and nap time. It was great to be able to spend all that quality time with Liam. He was needing some time with his parents. Eli had become a bit of a needy baby.

Best Friends!!!! I love these Boys

We played and played with all our friends and new friends! Soccer and baseball were all a very big hit!

That night we held the Church talent show. Liam, Chris and Isaiah were part of puzzle challenge. They had to see who could put the puzzle together the fastest!

The Glenn's Visit

We were so excited for the Glenn's to visit us in October. Curtis was running the tough mudder with Chris. The boys loved playing together. Liam loves Tyler. He loved a friend. The boys played hard each day. They made memories for a lifetime. Liam loves to call Tyler on facetime now. We are blessed with such wonderful friends. I am so glad that my boys will have a life long friendship with the Glenn boys.

Poor Liam

Liam got pretty sick back in October. Poor kid had a terrible cough and a very high fever. His fever just would not break. We ended up spending a few long hours in the ER. He did great. He got an IV, followed by a red popsicle. He ended up having a bad virus. Thankfully it resolved quickly but it made for some good snuggles.
