And......

We are happy to announce that I am pregnant! Liam is going to be a big brother. We are so excited. I am currently 10 weeks and I am due September 7th! 

We found about two days after our fertility doctors appointment. I had been waiting to start the med for our next round of treatments but before I could we were surprised with this little sprout! It was a bit of a shock since the doctor said we would need some medication and treatments to make this happen. We could not be happier!

Reading and more reading!

I can not tell you how much Liam loves to read. I swear we spend about 3 hours reading per day. He wants to read when he wakes up, before nap, after nap, and before bed. There are also some random times that he will just bring us a book to read. I love that he loves to read. He also really enjoys the library. Thank goodness because we go through a lot of books. The other day Liam made a random reading corner behind the sofa. He loved it. It was not so great for me but I loved seeing his brain work. I am sure this reading corner started because he has one at school.

Liam has one other love of reading. He loves to do his bedtime reading with Cathy in her bed. He will take her 10 books to read. He gets under the covers and raises the bed. I just love that they have this special bond together. It melts my heart to see their love for each other.

Baseball cards

Baseball cards...... and football and basketball. Pete was hugh collector of sports cards. Well he passed it onto Chris. It is nice to see that Chris is enjoying something and loves collecting the cards. He also loves that Liam likes to help. Pete would always give Liam some cards that didn't have value and now Chris does too. I know Chris is waiting for the day that Liam is old enough to hand down some cards and open some packs. Pete started some collections for Liam and Chris is continuing on the tradition. It is so much fun to see them bonding over cards. I know Chris can't wait for the day that Liam opens his first hot pack!

Trampoline

We have the most amazing neighbors ever. We are just beyond blessed to have Lauren, Troy and the kids next door to us. Liam loves to spend as much time over there as possible. This past Christmas just gave him one more reason to love then and their backyard. The Gibbins got a trampoline for Christmas. Liam is in love. Everyday he asks to jump. The other day the Gibbins were out for the morning so Liam and I took some time to jump together. He really loved it. I am sure it is way more fun with his friends. In fact he kept asking when they would be home to jump with him.  These have been the only pictures I can get of him. Usually there are four kiddos in there and they are so busy it is hard to take a picture!

It had rained the night before so it was a little slipper. It didn't stop my guy from jumping and loving it! 

Bobo the Elephant

Liam had a rough few days at nap time. One  day was extra hard for us. Liam wouldn't even get into bed that day. I finally managed to calm him down by offering a this stuffed animal. It was an animal that Chris got for me when we first started dating. Chris knew I loved pink and elephants so he got me one before his first deployment. So now Liam has an attachment to a pink elephant named Bobo. He takes him many places. I am sure people wonder but he is happy and loves his Bobo!
